TATIANA DESARDOUIN
BIOGRAPHY

From a very young age Tatiana has been interested in Hip-hop dance and culture. In her teenage years

she began her dance journey with a dance group, South Angels, with which she was able to have her

first stage experiences in Geneva.

In order to further develop her dance, she decided to travel more, to New York in particular, and take

part in several given by pioneers of house and hip-hop dance styles.

She has had the opportunity to participate in and win several competitions in Switzerland and abroad

(Italy, Denmark, France, Canada)

She has been sought out to give workshops and judge competitions in Switzerland and overseas (USA,

Italy, France, Austria, Perù, Canada).

Having taught since 2005, she has had the opportunity to work as a hip-hop dance teacher in two Swiss

contemporary dance companies,”L’Estuaire” and “Alias”.

Tatiana has been very involved in the growth and development of the Swiss hip-hop scene. Today, with

passion and a sharing spirit, she teaches Hip-Hop dance in several dance schools, including “Centre de

Formation Professionnelle des Arts Appliquées (CFPAA)” for the contemporary dance branch in Geneva.

With Loïc Dinga, she opened her own dance school in Geneva, “Le Centre Hip-Hop” where she also

teaches. She is a member of the JAIA association with which she organises dance camps, the JAIA 

Battle, House, Hip-Hop and Dancehall dance sessions “sweat your house” and “LES 5 SENS” (which is

a party who combines different art forms and the clubbing culture). In 2012, she became also one of

the four dancers and founder of the “Continuum” hip-hop dance company, which was the first hip-hop

dance company in Geneva.

MAI LE HO

BIOGRAPHY:

Hailing from France, Mai Lê is an arts educator, dancer and choreographer who relocated to

New York City in 2009.

Through her passion for dance, Mai Lê has had the opportunity to perform and/or teach in

such countries as France, Democratic Republic of Congo, the UK, Vietnam, Italy, Spain, Croatia,

Slovakia, Holland, Russia, Belgium and throughout the United States. In 2012 she joined RHAW

and soon after RHPM (Rennie Harris Pure Movement), the longest running Hip-Hop dance

touring company created in 1991, with which she traveled to Central Africa to serve as a US

Cultural Ambassador in 2013. She also toured Europe with Detroit music producer Theo

Parrish in 2014 as a dancer in his live band "The Unit".

Driven by her talents, Mai Lê has been relentlessly promoting underground Hip-Hop & House

cultures locally and internationally, helping to bring awareness to their positive impact on the

community. She strongly advocates for the harmonious marriage of dance and music,

primarily through her event “LayeRhythm, A Jam Session of Music & Dance”, created in March

2015 in NYC, and is now expanding to other cities.

LAURIANE OGAY

BIOGRAPHY:

Lauriane discovered the hip-hop culture as a teenager in Switzerland. She right away started to

research information on where she could dance and be part of that scene.

Eager to get better and learn more about it, she went from school to school, to finally find the real

underground Hip-Hop establishment she was looking for; "First Move" School. This is when the

performances and competition (Battle) started. Luckily, she has been able to meet the right people

who were able to open those doors and show this world to her.

After a couple of years, she also joined another school called "Urban Elite", where she was able to do

performances with.

Simultaneously she has been travelling to different countries as France, Portugal, Spain, Austria,

Belgium to participate in events, parties and workshops. Knowing where the culture was coming from,

New York came up on her travel journey in 2008 and this was the trigger associated to her passion for

the Hip-Hop and House culture. Classes (Brian Green, Ejoe, Caleaf) and parties were on the planning,

everything that could immerse her in that culture. 2010 was her second trip to New York and Canada

for an international competition.

During her time in Switzerland, Lauriane was working for JDS Association (Hip-Hop festival organizer)

Member of the association "Reprezent Yourself" and Go-Nuts in Lausanne, she has been active since

2011 in the organization of Hip-Hop event and parties in order to promote that culture in her country.

In 2012, Lauriane left Switzerland on her own to travel some more and to discover other culture. Cuba,

Madagascar, Canada, USA. She spent 6 month in USA, mainly in New York and found a job there, which

allowed her to officially moved to New York.

Since then, she is fully involved in this culture and is part of DFF (Dance Fusion Family), and ATF

Collective (all About The Feeling). training, teaching and performing when the opportunities come, are

part of her lifestyle.
